The RIC YouTube channel was a large one, consisting of technical, research-related videos, patient stories (always the highest traffic), and news stories – both local and national
Most recently we added a series of how-to videos introducing the RIC Patient Portal – an online communication tool for past and present patients of RIC.
Another fun challenge was close-captioning an aphasia-related video produced by our stroke treatment department. One difficulty aphasia patients experience is being understood by those around them. Transcribing their personal stories was a similar challenge – but well worth it!
